Our today's worship was conducted and coordinated by Bro Joseph Audu. The church was full of joy as the praise team took up the mantle of praises and led the whole church into powerful praises and worship, the church was moved and excited through the power of the Holy Spirit. After that the choirs present their special anthem and immediately after the presentation of the choristers, the shepherd of the church, Pastor Stephen Sunday Maliki, (JP), came up to pulpit and preach a message title "THE JOY OF THE BARREN". He took his text from the book of 1st Samuel 2:1-8 and Psalm 113:9, he began his message by telling a live story of a man in our land(Ebira) whom God turned his barrens into joy. After that, he declared that every evil names that the world has given to you shall be change to joy this year in Jesus Name (Amen). He also declared that we shall celebrate the joy of barrens this year, meaning whatsoever have make you barren and whatever you have been barren off, shall turn into joy this year.
He proceed further to read the book of 1st Samuel 2:1, he explained the bible passage and led us (church) to pray the following prayers;
(1) He said we should pray to God to locate us year with the solution of our problems(barren) as He locate Hannah that day.
(2) Pray that God should do wonder things in your life this year and He should use your life to receive glory.
(3) God, O God, you that created the Heaven and Earth, do my own for me this year, for i know it is not difficult for you to do. Do mine to receive glory.
(4) Hold the person beside you and pray for him/her and him/her should pray for you as well, saying, this i doubt not that the Lord God shall do that which you have asked Him to do for you.
He urged the congregation to have faith over the prayers they have prayed today. He declared again after He has read verse 8 of 1st Samuel 2, that as God liveth, the name which the world has given (or called) you shall be changed and turn into joy in Jesus name(Amen). Have faith on the prayers you have prayed today, he emphasized again.He also declared that the God that fight for Hannah shall surely fight for you.He led us to pray this prayer, Pray to God that the name He(God) has given to you should last you to your evening time(Old age).
He concluded his message by declaring this prophesy "The songs of testimony, joy, victory and praises shall not depart from your mouth this year in Jesus name(Amen).
The service was brought to an end with testimony, praises and victorious greeting.
Brethren, it is good to dwell in the presence of God all the time.
Beloved, i urge you to pray the prayers that are mentioned above, as the Holy Spirit directs you, and maintain Holiness.

19/01/2014. NAMING CEREMONY
Mr. Peter Adavize named his child [Daughter] on the 19th Jan. 2014. a short exotation was given by Rev. pastor Samuel Isezuo, the zonal overseer of Gospel Assembly Intercontinental. he took his text from the book Ps. 113:9, Ps. 25:21-22, Prov. 22:15 and Luke 2:51-52. He explained the scripture passage, and named the child after the short message. the names of the child are as follows: LILIAN, PRECIOUS, AVOSAUHI, QUEEN, OZI PETER[the daughter of Peter]. The child was prayed for by the entire church. the father and the mother of the child gave their testimony, while the church present gifts to the child.

Today's (worship) service was full of joy as the choir master led the praise Team to worship God and charged the congregation with praises. Everybody was moved in the power of the Holy Ghost and praised the Lord with all the might.
After session of praises and worship, the pastor, in person of pastor Emmanuel Ehinmide one of the pioneering member of this church who is now the pastor in charge of Gospel Assembly Intercontinental, Oke - kukuru, kabba, kogi state, Nigeria. came up to the pulpit to preach a message titled "BLESSING ACCOMPANIED WITH WORK". He took his text from the book of Genesis 1:1-3, psalm 1:1-4 and 2 Peter 2:21-22.
He began his message by saying that "if you want God to bless you this year, walk with Him, find something to do and don't be lazy(slow coach)". He went further to say that some people want God's blessings but refuse to work. He pointed out that the blessings of God are embedded in the word of God; therefore whoever wanted God to bless him/her should cultivate the attitude of studying the word of God (Scripture) and meditate in it. But it is amazing that many christians today want already - made and this is what brought about many false prophets that are in increase in this our society today. Failure to walk in the ways of God this year means failure to receive blessing from God, he said:
Furthermore he said, if you walk with God this year, you will be like a tree planted beside the river, according to psalm 1:3. And if you don't want God to blow you off like chaff you had better walk with Him and obey Him - Psalm 1:4.
He said, most of us had gone back to our vomit to leak it again - 2 Peter 2:22, He also said, those who turned back to leak their vomit, are they who go back to the sins they have confessed and even vowed not to commit it again. For examples, some people drinking farewell but today they back into it again; Some vowed not to smoke again but unfortunately they have broken the vow e.t.c. You cannot be committing sins and think that God will bless you.

Pastor Paul Joseph , one of the indigenous son of this Assembly that is Pastoring Gospel Assembly Intercontinental, Ibillo, Edo state, who came home to celebrate the new year in his home church, was the one who handled the message for the day service.
He began his message by saying who are one of those that God has delivered and saved from the hands of the wicked people last year [2013]. He therefore urged us toe give whole some thanksgiving to God. He said that some Christians did not consider the work of God in their lives; All they focused was their lack and failed to thanks God over all that has done for them. He went further to say that we should appreciate God for all he has being doing in our lives. He declared that God will favor us this year[2014].
Finally HE read from the book of Isaiah 48:11.
He mention that God will not allow his name to be polluted, therefore He shall favor us and do our own for us this year

FIRST SERVICE OF THE YEAR 2014, HOLD ON 01-01-2014 @ 9, OO AM.
The church was fully loaded with overflow of members of both sides of the church: As the members were trooping into the church, many old friends came across each other at the church compound greeting each other with brotherly love in action, hugging shaking, and kneeling down to share their joy of witnessing new year of seeing themselves once again on the land of the living.
The service was started with opening prayers led by coordinator, Bro Samuel Jatto, the youth president, and later the praise team took over the mantle of praises. the church was led to praise God with beautiful songs of praises and worship.
When it was time of ministration, the pastor in-charge, pastor S.S MALIKI (jp) came over to the pulpit to declare prophetically that 2014 is a year of BEAUTY. According to the Scripture, Zachariah 3:4-7 which was his text, he emphasized that we should walk in the newness of life since God had forgiven us our sins through the sacrificial of death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.
More so that we should not go back to filthiness (our sins) again so as to maintain the beautiful new garment that the Lord had put on us.
He concluded the message by urging us to walk in the ways of the Lord this year so as to partake in the blessing God pronounced in Zachariah 3:7. Live in Holiness in order to maintain your BEAUTY he emphasized, and led us to pray that we should not full into filthiness [sins] this year. And that God should grant us a place to occupy among the holy brethren this year.
